Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 27, 2026

SoccerTraq ("SoccerTraq", "we", "us") is operated by Auvry, Inc., doing business as SoccerTraq, 15131 Ogden Loop, Suite 101, Odessa, FL 33556. This policy explains what we collect when coaches, team managers, clubs and parents use soccertraq.com and the SoccerTraq apps (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].

The short version

  • We turn match video you already record into stats, dot replays and coaching suggestions. We never make or share video clips or highlights.
  • Players are identified by jersey number and first name with last initial. We do not use face recognition.
  • Parents see team numbers and their own child's numbers only. Other children appear as unnamed dots.
  • A parent can opt their child out at any time, and we delete that child's individual data.
  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not show advertising.
  • We use your team's footage to improve our models only if your team turns that on and parents consent.

What we collect

Account information. Name, email address, role (coach, manager, parent, club director) and the teams you belong to. We sign you in with a one-time email code, so we do not store passwords.

Team and roster information. Team name, age group and kit colour; each player's jersey number, first name and last initial, and optional playing position; which parent accounts are linked to which player.

Match video and links. Video you upload, or links you share from Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. Video is recorded and controlled by you and your camera provider; we receive the finished file.

Match data we create. From the video we create player and ball positions on a pitch, events (such as passes and shots), team and player statistics, coaching suggestions, drills, development goals and training assignments. Each stored number records how it was produced (measured, estimated, reviewed by a person, or partial).

Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, billing status and the last four digits of your card, not your full card number.

Usage and device information. Pages viewed, features used, approximate location from IP address, browser and device type, and error logs, used to run and secure the Service.

Messages. Emails and support requests you send us, and the founding-team sign-up form (email, team, role and camera).

What we do not collect. Face scans or other biometric identifiers, precise location, players' contact details, and accounts for players under 13.

Most players are under 18 and many are under 13. We designed the Service so that children do not sign up or use it directly; coaches and parents do.

  • Before a child's individual stats are created, the team manager confirms that the team has permission to record matches, and each linked parent gives consent in the app. We record who consented, when, and to which version of this policy.
  • What parents control. A parent can see their child's information, ask us to correct it, opt their child out of individual stats, or ask us to delete it. Opting out deletes the child's individual numbers, goals, drills and coaching notes, and removes their name from replays. Team totals that cannot identify the child remain.
  • Separate consent for model training. Using a child's footage to improve our models requires the team's opt-in and the parent's separate consent. A parent can say no to training and still use every other part of the Service.
  • No advertising or selling. We never use children's information for advertising, and we never sell it.

If you believe we hold a child's information without the right consent, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

How we use information

  • To provide the Service: process video, calculate statistics, build replays, write reports and coaching suggestions, and send them to the right people.
  • To keep reports accurate: trained reviewers may watch match video to check or tag events.
  • To operate accounts, billing and support, and to send service emails (you can turn off non-essential emails).
  • To secure the Service, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
  • To improve our models, only where the team has opted in and parents have consented, as described above.

Coaching suggestions are written with the help of an AI model, using only the statistics from your matches. We do not send video or players' names to the AI model for this.

Who we share information with

  • Your team. Coaches, managers and assigned reviewers see the whole team. Parents see team numbers and their own child only. Club directors see team-level summaries for the club's teams.
  • Service providers that process data for us under contract, only to run the Service: Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (website and file storage), Modal (video processing), Resend (email), Stripe (payments) and Anthropic (writing coaching suggestions from match statistics).
  • People you choose. For example, a parent who shares their child's recruiting profile with a college coach.
  • Legal reasons. When required by law, or to protect the safety of players, users or the public.
  • Business transfer. If SoccerTraq is acquired or merged, this policy continues to apply to information collected under it.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

Opposing players and others in the video

Match video shows opposing players, referees and spectators who are not SoccerTraq users. We use their images only to calculate the match data for the team that uploaded the video. We never identify opposing players by name or jersey number in reports, and they appear in replays as unnamed dots.

How long we keep information

InformationHow long we keep it
Original match videoDeleted 90 days after the match report is ready, unless the team chooses a shorter time
Positions, events and statisticsWhile the team's account is active; deleted within 90 days after the account closes
A child's individual data after a parent opts outDeleted right away
Footage used for model training (opt-in only)Until the team or parent withdraws consent, then removed from future training within 30 days
Account, billing and consent recordsAs long as needed for the account, then as required by tax and legal record rules
Sign-up form entriesUntil we contact you, then 12 months unless you become a customer

We do not keep children's personal information longer than needed for the purposes above.

How we protect information

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, limit access by role so each person sees only what their role allows, keep player identities separate from position data, and require our service providers to protect data under contract. We maintain a written information security program with a named security lead, annual risk reviews and regular testing. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

  • See and correct. View your information in your account, or ask us for a copy.
  • Delete. Delete your account, or ask us to delete specific information.
  • Parents. Opt your child out, withdraw training consent, or ask us to delete your child's information at any time.
  • Emails. Turn off non-essential emails with one click.
  • Team control. Team managers can delete matches, rosters and the team.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, such as the right to know, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to appeal our decision. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not treat you differently for using your rights. To make a request, email [email protected]; we will confirm your identity before acting.

Where we process information

SoccerTraq is based in the United States and stores and processes information in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we will email account holders and show a notice in the app before it takes effect. If a change affects how we use children's information, we will ask parents for consent again.
